Girls Exploring Tomorrow’s Technology (GETT) will take place on Saturday, April 30, at the Technical College High School Brandywine Campus (Downingtown) from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. GETT is ITAG’s Premier youth event of the year! This unique and dynamic event offers girls in grades 5-10 the opportunity to explore exciting careers in STEM fields across all industries. The girls visit each Expo table to dive into a hands-on activity led by professional Women in STEM to learn about their companies and careers. We are expecting between 500-600 attendees at GETT this year!
Volunteers are a key to the success of this event
Here are some ways you can GETT involved! (to select your time slot, click here)
- Pre-event: volunteers are needed to help with set up on Friday afternoon at the school (3 p.m.-6 p.m.), to pick up event items the week before GETT such as water bottles and snacks.
- Event Day: volunteers are needed for LOTS of fun tasks such as assisting our Expo companies with set-up, directing the girls around the venue, attendees registration & check-in, AND MUCH MORE! You can volunteer for a few hours, or for the entire event. Please help us ensure that this signature ITAG event is a fantastic experience for all involved!
