3D Scavenger Hunt in Space guided by Analyticial Graphics, Inc., learning about Hot and Cold Air Mass from NBC10 Meteorologist Krystal Klei, Creating an App Prototype with TechGirlz, and Stopping the Bleed with Good Fellowship Ambulance & EMS were the first 4 hands-on activities of GETT’s 20th Anniversary Video series. And more is coming almost every week of the school year.  The partnering companies have created fascinating and creative hands-on activities.

About GETT:

Girls Exploring Tomorrow’s Technology (GETT) is an annual event in the spring for girls in grades 5-10 and their parents to learn about career opportunities in a broad scope of STEM related industries. The program is filled with exciting, enlightening and experiential activities led by successful women in STEM fields.

COVID-19 made it impossible to bring 1,000 girls together in one location.  But GETT has been re-engineered into a 20th anniversary video series that launched in early November 2020 with an opening ceremony, followed by a weekly video or livestream with hands-on STEM activities from our Expo organizations.  This programming will run through the school year, so instead of one day, it will take place over 8 months!
