Meeting Recap: Preparing the Workforce for AI
ITAG held their July Partnership meeting at Akkodis, with 60 individuals in attendance. Special thank you to the speakers – Anand Solanki (Citadel), Alina Ispas Montbriand (Boomi), Brett Frischmann (Villanova University), Dr. Fiona Jamison (People Results), and Matthew Sullivan (Akkodis).

In our latest panel discussion, experts shared insights on how businesses can thoughtfully integrate AI to stay competitive. The message was clear: AI is a powerful tool—but its success depends on purpose, people, and policy. Panelists suggested that leaders should focus on high-impact use cases and empower employees to explore AI tools through upskilling and experimentation. Giving teams permission to learn and innovate builds confidence and drives results. At the same time, clear governance is essential. Ethical guidelines around bias, privacy, and transparency ensure responsible and effective AI use. By embracing AI strategically, companies can unlock innovation, strengthen their workforce, and lead in an ever-evolving marketplace. Ultimately, the message was clear: AI should be seen as a powerful resource—not a replacement. With the right mindset, training, and structure, organizations can harness AI to drive innovation while supporting their people.
