About Mike Kain
Mike’s career with Unisys has spanned over 39 years in the areas of computer security and networking. Mike concentrates on all areas of security: authentication, auditing, networking, use of cryptography, key management, export control, development processes (DevSecOps) and system assessment and scanning.
Mike is one of the leaders of the Security Vulnerability Response team within Enterprise Computing Solutions as well as one of the leaders of the Security TSG (a meeting of lead Technology architects to discuss various topics and provide guidance about security). Mike also co-holds 6 patents in the areas of networking and networking collaboration.
Mike taught as an adjunct teaching professor at Drexel University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in the areas of computer networks (both undergraduate and graduate) and operating systems (graduate) spanning 27 years.
Mike holds a B.S. in Computer Science (minor in Math) from the University of Delaware (1986) and an M.S. in Computer Science from Drexel University (1996).
