ITAG 2026 Kickoff Meeting

A big thank you to everyone who attended the ITAG Kick-Off! It was fantastic to see such a strong turnout and to connect with so many engaged professionals. The evening was filled with meaningful networking, insightful conversations, and the exchange of ideas that truly reflect the spirit of ITAG.

We especially appreciated the timely and thought-provoking discussion on AI and the law. Panelists shared practical insights that reinforced a clear theme: organizations should embrace AI, but with intention and structure. Ongoing AI education is essential for business success, and leaders must understand how AI is being applied within their organizations. Progress with AI isn’t just about moving fast—it’s about moving forward with governance and safeguards that enable sustainable scale.

Take-aways from the session included:

  1. Governance Before Adoption
Effective AI use starts with clear policies, oversight, and an inventory of tools in use. Adopting AI without structure increases legal and operational risk; adopting it with governance creates opportunity.
  2. AI Literacy Is a Leadership Requirement
Continuous AI training is now essential, especially for leadership. Decision-makers must understand how AI is actually being applied within their organizations.
  3. Risk Management Must Evolve With AI Use
As AI adoption expands, risk mitigation strategies must evolve in parallel. Responsible adoption means embracing AI intentionally while continuously reassessing legal, ethical, and operational exposure.

Thank you to all who joined us and helped make the event such a success—we’re looking forward to continuing the conversation and building momentum in the months ahead.
